We have a young family and have always constantly looking out for good clean family fun activities to do with our two energetic boys. These are the ones available and I believe your kids will enjoy them.
Theme Parks
Downdown East operates two theme parks in Singapore. One is an Outdoor Themepark and a Water theme park featuring many fun rides for children of all ages. You can even spend a day or two staying at the Costa Sand Resort right at the theme park to take full advantage of all the facilities.
Boat Ride
Go for either bumboat ride along Singaore river or take the ducktour that takes you for a city tour cum river cruise.
Visit Sentosa
Fishing and Prawns catching
Lakeside fishing Village - For those who stay in the Western side of Singapore, you may wish to explore the Lakeside fishing village.
There is also another Eastern venue for fishing and prawns catching. It is about 5 mins walk from Pasir Ris MRT at the Pasir Ris Town Park. Ask for exact direction when you reach Pasir Ris MRT.
Horse Riding and Pony Riding
Bukit Timah Saddle Club offers horse riding courses to both Adults and Children. This is more for people who are serious with wanting to learn horse riding.

Course fee : Adults SGD 400.00, Children (7 yrs old and above) SGD 350.00. Duration of course is 2 months.
Gallop Stable - for those who want just want to have fun riding the pony (fr. $10) or feeding ponies, check out the Gallop Stable which is the place for pony riding. Located at Pasir Ris Park beside Carpark C. It is about 10 mins walk from Pasir Ris MRT and is open daily from 9am to 7pm.
Riding lessons for groups or individuals are also available from a fee of $400.
Gallop Cafe & Bar is located right next to the Stable with a big field in the same area, ideal for picnic or simply for children to run around and play.

Singapore Polo Club
This is another place that offers horse riding in Singapore. Children as young as 5 can start taking their horse riding course.

Visit a Farm - Choose between Goat farm, Frog farm, Fish farm, Organic vegetables farm to spend your next family outing.
Visit the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)
Use it as an educational session to explain to the youngsters on the importance of being kind to animals and to be a responsible pet owner.
Fun Learning - Visit Explorekid, Singapore Science Centre, Singapore Discovery Centre or NEWater Visitor Centre.
Sailing
If you and your family are into sea sports, Changi Sailing Club conducts courses specially designed for children between the age of 8 to 12.
Snow play at Snow city
For children who grow in the tropic, it's a good experience for them to see and touch snow. The snow city is an indoor snow centre maintained at minus five degrees Celsius. Enjoy snow play with your kids and don't forget to try the thrilling rides down the snow slopes on rubber tubes or snowboards.

Visit the Children's Garden
Located at the Bukit Timah Core of the Botanic Gardens, this newly opened Asia's first garden for children under 13 is a place for fun and learning. Not only they can play with the tree house, suspension bridge, have fun at the playground, it's a also a large botanical classroom where children can learn about how photosynthesis takes place, biological composting and nutrient recycling process, experience plants by sight, smell and touch.
Free admission but children need to be accompanied by adults, Open daily from 8am to 7pm except Mondays.
Go for a nature walk
Take a balloon flight
A special flight aboard the DHL Tethered balloon for the breathtaking view of Singapore. The balloon will take you up to a height of 150 metres (40 storeys)where you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of Singapore.

This is a great family fun activity suitable for older kids of 8 yrs and above. It's a racing game on Kart and can be very thrilling if you like speed and action.

 Kids Adventure at Toa Payoh SAFRA Clubhouse
This is a indoor playground with an elevated fun maze for children under 12. They have a big ball house for younger kids. Your toddlers will be captivated by the many balls he/she is surrounded by.
NB : Kids must wear socks to enter

Best time to go is during non peak period (weekday 9 - 6.00pm) where SAFRA member’s child pays $2 and non member's child pays $3. Free for Adult and children under 2.
Have an extraordinary Kids Birthday Party
How fun would it be if your child gets to bake his or her own birthday cake with his/her friends and get to enjoy their creation together in a fun filled environment. At-Sunrise offers 'Big Brain Baking Classes' for children to have birthday party at their kitchen. You don't have to worry about shopping for ingredients or cleaning up the mess, everything will be taken care off :)
Playground @ Big Splash
Located along East Coast Park, this is a place where you can take your family for a few hours of fun. Playground @ Big Splash is a good place for family outing as there are many eateries as well as places for the little ones to enjoy themselves. You will find Lilli Putt, Singapore's first themed indoor mini-golf course, Frisk 'n' Romp - a spacious 7,000 sq ft indoor play sanctary for children, Inline Skating , Kangoo Jump - a relatively new sport in Singapore requires you to strap oversized elastic bands to your feet, so you can actually bounce up and down like a kangaroo.

Singapore’s premium indoor children’s entertainment centre offering active pay-for-play in an air-conditioned environment for children aged 0-11 years. Drop in to enjoy playtime for the kids and chill-out time for Mums and Dads.
SengKang Sports and Recreation Centre
Located at Sengkang West neighbourhoold, this 28 million centre is the latest recreation haven come complete with eateries, parks, indoor sports hall, hockey field and water-sports facilities like swimming pools and water slides. It is expected to open in the 2nd half of 2008.
HealthZone at Health Promotion Board
Located at Level 2, Health Promotion Board 3 Second Hospital Avenue , Health Zone is a wonderful place for everyone, young and old. This is the place with many wonderful exhibits that teaches us how the different parts of the body functions and the importance of eating and living healthy. Many interactive games are available to engage the children which will find learning fun. A rare gem not to be missed if you wish to take your kids out for an educational tour.
