Compared to other carriers, you may have to pay a premium price for Singapore International Airline. However, if you are traveling in group/s of 4s, the discount can be very attractive. Or take advantage of special promotional deals which are frequently offered which may work out to be cheaper than many major carriers.  Singapore Airline has recently launched the world's first Airbus A380 double-decker superjumbo which boasts greater flight comfort including more leg room.

Travel by Singapore Tiger Airways

Budget Air Travel

Tiger Airways is Singapore's only budget airline. Established in December 2003, the tiger airline took to the air on September 15, 2004. It currently flies to six cities in Thailand, two cities in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi), Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Haikou and Macau SAR in China, Indonesia (Padang), the Philippines (Clark-Manila), Australia (Darwin) and Singapore.

Singapore Tiger Airways new service between Singapore and Perth has commenced on 23 March 2007 with four flights a week. This makes it the only Asian Low Cost Carrier to link Perth with Asia.

The Singapore-Perth flight service will increase from 4 flights a week to a daily service during peak demand during the holiday periods. They also have plans to operate daily to Perth from November 2007.

Tiger Airways aims to have one of the newest fleets among the low cost carriers. Seeing a tremendous growth since it's establishment, it has placed order for more new 11 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft scheduled to join its fleet by 2010
