Singapore Art Museum The SAM has one of the largest collection of the 20th-century Southeast Asian art in the world. Artworks include modern and contemporary arts collection. Culture Asian Civilsation Museum Singapore's largest and most spectacular museum. It has 10 galleries presenting over 1,300 artefacts spanning 5,000 years of Asian Culture. History
 The Changi Museum A museum that is Dedicatd to the Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and civilian internees in Singapore during World War II.
Here, you will find moving stories of the POWs, their letters, photographs, drawings and personal artefacts that depict the lives and hardship of these people during their years of captivity.
The Changi Chapel, which is a replica of the primitive chapels built by the POWs and civilian internees during their imprisonment, had been a source strength and comfort that kept them going during their struggles. *Recommended
The museum is open 7 days a week (9.30am - 5.00pm). Admission is free. Bark Cafe that offers fusion food is located next to the museum.
How to get there : Take SBS no. 2 from Tanah Merah MRT station or SBS no. 29 from Tampines MRT station.

MINT Museum of Toys Reportedly the world's first purpose-built and dedicated toy museum. This museum has more than 50,000 vintage toys spanning a period of 150 years. It boosts 5 floors of exhibition space including a merchandise boutique and cafe.

Others Live Turtles & Tortoises Museum - This small museum is located inside Singapore Chinese Garden. It boasts the world's first museum of it's kind with over 50 species in collection (including some rare species and a live mutant turtle with 2 heads and 6 legs) and over 1,000 live turtles and tortoises. Most of the turtles are in either glass tanks or enclosures. Unless you are specifically interested in turtles and tortoises, you may be disappointed with the visit.
